Face-to-face appointments in Nottingham are with Dr Alice Duffy, while video consultations can be booked with Lindsey Lester (our menopause specialist pharmacist independent prescriber), Dr Alice Duffy or Dr Sarah Ball. We offer longer appointments, evidence-based treatment plans and a continuity of care that’s often hard to find elsewhere.
Our Menopause clinic in Nottingham is conveniently situated on College Street in the city centre, close to the Nottingham Playhouse and behind Nottingham Cathedral.
Dr Alice Duffy, an experienced GP, BMS Menopause Specialist, and the founder of Health in Menopause, conducts in-person consultations at this clinic on Mondays and Tuesdays.

No, you can book a private menopause consultation directly with us — no referral is needed. With your permission, we're happy to share a summary letter with your NHS GP after your appointment.

Yes. We offer telephone and video follow-up appointments for existing patients who can't easily travel to the clinic — particularly helpful for those who've moved away or live further afield.
Absolutely. Many of our patients continue care with us remotely after they move. We can issue private prescriptions and review your treatment by phone or video.
We don't currently accept direct insurance payments, but we provide detailed receipts so you can submit a claim to your insurer where your policy allows.
