Pricing
Clear fees for private menopause care — your prescription is included.
Every consultation fee at Health in Menopause includes your prescription, follow-up correspondence and (with your permission) a summary letter to your NHS GP. There are no membership fees and no booking fees.
You'll always know exactly what you're paying before you book - and if you need any additional tests, medication or referrals, we'll talk you through the cost upfront so you can decide what's right for you.
Consultation fees
Every new patient starts with an initial consultation. Follow-ups are available for existing patients once you're established with us.
£285
Up to 60 minutes
£190
Up to 30 minutes
When you pay for a consultation with us, that fee covers everything for that appointment. There are no separate charges for the prescription letter, GP correspondence or the time our team spends preparing for your visit.
The consultation fee does not cover the cost of any medication you're prescribed — you pay for HRT and other prescribed items separately at your pharmacy.
Blood tests, if we recommend them, are charged separately — pricing depends on which profile you have (see the full fees table on our blood tests page). There is also a phlebotomy fee: £30 for samples taken in clinic, or a fee that varies if done via Nationwide Pathology.
Additional services
If we recommend additional tests or treatments as part of your care, here's what those cost. You'll always be told the price upfront before anything is booked.
Six profiles available. See blood tests →
from £70
For blood samples taken at our clinics. Home visits via Nationwide Pathology are priced separately.
From £30
Included in every consultation fee. Medication is paid separately at your pharmacy.

Payment is taken at the time of booking through our secure booking system. Once your booking is confirmed, you'll receive a receipt by email.
We're not currently registered with private medical insurers, so we can't bill them directly. However, some patients successfully claim consultation fees back from their insurer or their employer's health scheme - we're happy to provide the paperwork you'll need if you'd like to try.

Fantastic call with Dr Alice Duffy. I was finally heard, listened to and advised on my options going forward. She was so reassuring and such a positive influence, I just felt relieved it wasn’t just me going through the mill with my menopause symptoms. Her knowledge is second to none and knew exactly what was happening and what needed to be done to relieve the symptoms. I now have a plan, which, believe me, means I can get on with life. Thank you so much, what a great job you do.Posted on Google![]()

I was recommended to speak to Dr Alice after trying to deal with menopause myself (badly). Not only did she make me feel comfortable enough to talk about things I tend to keep buried, she listened, advised and made sense of everything I was feeling and gave me the confidence to move forward and deal with it properly. No GP would every be able to explain things so well or give you that warm feeling of being heard. If you are struggling, as I was with menopause I couldnt recommend her highly enough! Thank you Dr Alice xPosted on Google![]()

We're not currently registered with private medical insurers, so we can't bill them directly. Many patients still successfully claim fees back from their insurer or employer health scheme — we'll provide any paperwork you need to submit a claim.
No. The prices you see are the total prices you pay. Private medical consultations are VAT-exempt in the UK, so there's nothing added on top.

Yes. If we recommend blood tests as part of your care, they're charged separately from £70. We'll always talk you through the cost before anything is booked.
If you're self-employed or a limited company director and your consultations relate to a work-related health issue, some accountants advise these can be claimed. We recommend checking with your accountant, as tax treatment depends on individual circumstances.
We accept Klarna at checkout, which allows you to split payment for consultations over three instalments (subject to Klarna approval).
