If you have any blood results from your GP surgery from any recent blood tests it can be helpful if you can share them with us electronically before your initial appointment (at least 48 hours prior to ensure we have seen them) but we wouldn’t expect any particular blood tests to have been carried out in advance. Blood results can be forwarded to info@healthinmenopause.co.uk in advance of your appointment.

If we advise any blood tests going forward we will explain how and when to get them done and it is not usually necessary to have them done prior to any appointment. We usually find it more helpful to do a blood test on the day of your appointment or at some point afterwards so that we can better interpret the result in the context of what you have told us at your appointment.
