Within 7-10 days of your blood test being taken, your doctor will email you to explain your results and any suggestions for your ongoing treatment. Most blood tests are done at the time of a consultation or soon after or with a pre-agreed plan of what implications the blood results may have on your treatment plan. If it has been some time since your last consultation and we don’t have an up-to-date assessment of how you are currently feeling, we may let you know that we will need to discuss your results in context with a further consultation.
If you have had a blood test and not heard from us within 10 days, please contact us via email so we can investigate the issue.
